Brewery Tap Hours
There’s still some eyes to cross and tees to iron out, but we’re very close to announcing additional hours in our tap room after successful negotiations with our landlord (who has up to this point restricted our brewery tap to just 5 hours a week).
November and December will see us run a two month trial to prove to our landlord that additional hours won’t burden any of our neighbours on the estate.
We’re thrilled that our patience and perseverance are soon to been rewarded and that we’re set to turn a corner and gain our landlord’s permission to operate the program of events, tap takeovers, classes, and lectures we’ve been dreaming of running since we first opened our tap room on the 4th of April 2015.
I’ll be back to you all as soon as the ink is dry to confirm what the additional hours will be.
If you’d like to talk to us about hosting your Christmas party here in the run up to the end of the year please fill in this form, and if you’d like to put yourself forward to help us run our additional tap room hours please do so here.
* January 21st 2017 Update *
I'm delighted to announce that our landlord as granted us ongoing permission to run our tap room on Friday evenings, and all day/evening on Saturdays and Sundays. We will have to run our tap room from TENs licenses until we can apply for a change to our current premises license.
Our tap room hours for off sales or enjoying our fresh beer on site in the brewery are as follows:
Friday 4pm - 9pm
Saturday 12pm - 8pm
Sunday 12pm - 5pm
Pre bookings are no longer required (though once all our seats are occupied we won't admit more people), so please just walk in. Should you be travelling to visit us or wanting to come with a small group please email firstname.lastname@example.org so we can work on reserving you a table for your stated arrival time. We are going to work on re-listing our tours through Eventbrite, so keep an eye on our page here for updates in the coming days!
Is there an age restriction?
Yes indeed! We operate a challenge 25 policy, so if you're lucky enough to look under 25 please bring government issued ID.
Can we stay on after our tour if we feel like hanging out?
You sure can, as long as we aren't full with people joining us for our brewery tap, we'll seat you, set you up on a tab, and leave you free to hang out as long as you want until we close.
What about babies and children?
We've set up a safe and relaxed atmosphere here, and are always happy to see parents bring babies, toddlers, and children.
Are pets allowed?
As much as we love animals we have to say no. Our brewery tap is right in the heart of our production brewery and high food hygiene standards and pets don't mix.
How do I get there?
We're a short walk from Piccadilly train station and an even shorter walk from New Islington tram stop. Feel free to cycle, we have a secure area for your bike. If someone insists on not drinking at all and driving you here we have 10 parking spaces outside, with plenty of parking on neighbouring streets (such as Adair St).
How can I make sure my group of friends all get sat together?
Please arrive at the same time so that we can seat you on the appropriate sized table. For groups of six or more please notify us ahead of time by email or we may be unable to accept you on the day.
Can I book in for a stag do, hen do, or lads day out?
As a general rule we aren't open to bookings or walk ins of large parties for stag dos, hen dos, or groups of lads – we won't risk the noise and disruption that nearly always accompanies larger groups of people. If you're the friendliest bunch of respectful ladies, or chaps please drop us a line at email@example.com and we'll see what we can do for you.
Please note: As part of our commitment to responsible drinking, to safeguard our ability to open our production brewery up to the public, and to preserve a relaxed atmosphere, we will refuse service of alcohol to anyone we determine has become intoxicated in our tap room, and will refuse entry to anyone intoxicated upon arrival.
