International Women's Day Pale - 4% - Mini Cask

On February 6th, we hosted a special brew day in honour of IWD 2024, inviting women from different Manchester-based organisations who have inspired us and have positively contributed to their communities.

It was incredibly special to have them all under one roof, and we had a great time brewing together!

Each of the Participants in the project has contributed an interview that you can read on our Blog now.

Seri Nam, Phoebe Patrick & Meg Williams from Flawd

Deanne Blake from Root2Ginger

Helen Hardy & Donna Emmett from Manchester Laces

Rebecca Friel from Odd Arts

Gemma Saunders, Mary-Ellen McTague & Kathleen O´Connor from Eat Well

Isobel Jenkins & Caroline Dubois from Isca

Maxine Peake from Working Class Movement Library

Rivca Burns from The Other

Mel Dyson & Robyn Bell from our Cloudwater team

The Beer is a Pale Ale brewed with beautiful hops including Columbus, Idaho 7, Motueka and Waimea. Although it is only 4%, it doesn't lack in depth. It is bold and dank, with a full body and soft pine finish. A truly punchy Pale Ale.

It is packaged in 9 unique cans featuring all the participants from our brew day. If you want a certain can, make a note of it and we will do our best to sort that for you.

If you order 9-pack you will also receive our beautiful IWD zine, with all photos and interviews in print.

On the 8th of March we have an International Women´s day event in our Taproom here in Manchester. Come!

We want to ensure you get the most from your mini cask, so here is a quick guide on how to achieve the perfect serve:

  • Store your mini cask in a cool place and allow it to settle for at least 24 hours before serving.
  • We recommend serving at 4 — 8ºC.
  • It’ll taste at its freshest within 48 hours after opening but will keep for up to 72 hours.
  • You should expect to receive 8 — 8.5 pints.
