Turning To The Sun

Made from our base of 2.5 tonnes of chuckleberries in one of our 5000 litre foudres and fragranced with whole tonka beans. This smoothie-like mixed fermentation ale requires careful handling due to a high proportion of fruit solids in the finished beer: chill to 1ºC before opening; pour immediately into your favourite glassware upon opening.

Rich fruit aromas are led by ripe strawberries and fresh chuckleberries, combined with a subtle hint of funk on the nose. The infusion of tonka brings a rounded sweetness and a distinctive spicing, with all the body of a modern juicy sour.
