Role: Taproom Supervisor
Location: Cloudwater Taproom, Unit 9, Piccadilly Industrial Est., Manchester M1 2NP
Salary: £13.35 per hour
Hours: 32 hours a week, including weekends and evening shifts.
This role will be a permanent contract.
We are looking for a Taproom Supervisor to support the Taproom Manager at The Cloudwater Taproom. The ideal candidates would have previous experience in managerial roles and a desire to contribute to the strategy of the bar. We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail and exceptional customer service. Beer knowledge and cellar management experience are both strongly desired, as well as a commitment to maintaining high product quality standards.
Main duties include:
- Supervising the bar and all staff when the Taproom Manager (TM) is not present
- Supporting the TM in training of staff to ensure a strong team
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness of the venue
- Keyholding: opening and closing of the venue in a safe and organised manner
- Quality control: Checking beer quality, rotating cellar stock, ensuring products are served to company standards at all time
- Engaging in Taproom Social Media
- Undertaking Brewery Tours & Tastings where applicable
