Role: Taproom Key Holder

Location: Cloudwater Taproom, Unit 9, Piccadilly Industrial Est., Manchester M1 2NP

Salary: £13.10 per hour

Hours: 12-16 hours a week, including weekends and evening shifts

This role will be a permanent contract.

We are looking for a Taproom Key Holder to support the Taproom Manager at The Cloudwater Taproom. The ideal candidates would have previous experience in managerial roles and a desire to contribute to the strategy of the bar. Beer knowledge and cellar management experience are both strongly desired, as well as a commitment to maintaining high product quality standards, cleanliness and delivering excellent customer service.

Main duties include:

  • Supervising the bar and all staff when the Taproom Manager (TM) & Supervisor are not present
  • Supporting the TM in training of staff to ensure a strong team providing outstanding customer service
  • Key holding - opening and closing of the venue in a safe and organised manner
  • Quality control: Checking beer quality, rotating cellar stock, ensuring beer is served to company standards at all time
  • Ensuring the venue is up to a high standard of cleanliness for guests
  • Undertaking Brewery Tours & Tastings (where applicable)
