• 11th Birthday DDH Pale

  We love celebrating with big beers but we also love being able to sit and enjoy a few pints with our mates without worrying about our heads (too much at least) so we’ve replicated our birthday QIPA but in a lower, softer format.

  Using the same hop grist as our 11th Birthday QIPA this DDH Pale brings you our characteristic (actually double, and not just twice hopped) fuller hop profile to a more sessionable beer using the Clean Fusion™ process developed by Nick at One Drop Brewing Co. We believe a sessionable beer should be clean, juicy and soft and this 5% DDH Pale delivers on it. White peach tea from the Idaho 7 blends with fresh green grape, ripe melon rind and a slight floral yet peppery aftertaste from the Motueka. A delightfully clean and refreshing sessionable pale.

• 11th Birthday Supercharged IPA

  Supercharged is a brand new hopping process that takes our beer from dry hop to packaging in less than 24 hours to ensure the freshest of beer profiles for you guys. We’re blessed that we get to sample our beers directly from the tank in their most clean state and we want you guys to get in on this experience too! This Supercharged IPA is one of the softest, juiciest, and freshest beers we’ve made, capturing the cleanest form of the hops and canned to ensure the ripest experience. We’ve jam packed this brew with Citra, Mosaic, Columbus, Strata CGX and Idaho 7 so there’s no shortage of flavour. You can learn more about the process here

• 11th Birthday QIPA

  A birthday celebration calls for a QIPA! There’s nothing more us than a big-hitting banging beer and we’ve held nothing back for this birthday QIPA. Brewing beer to this strength always provides a backbone of ethanol sweetness so we’ve used Clean Fusion™, developed by our friends at One Drop, to clean up the liquid and extract every last drop of flavour in the hops.

  We’ve blended Idaho 7, Motueka, Citra Cryo, Strata CGX and Mosaic to pull towards a fruity and dank flavour profile. Fresh melon, white grape and a Chinese green tea characteristic is layered on top of a gentle black pepper spice paired perfectly with a tropical lychee round off, keeping the bitterness and sweetness perfectly balanced in this boozy beer.

• 11th Birthday Imperial Stout

  It’s not a proper birthday without some birthday cake! We’ve worked with single-estate bean-to-bar chocolatier Mayoy Cacao to source a blend of Venezuelan cacao nibs, bringing a breadth of flavour to this extra special edition of MCI (My Continuous Improvement). We’ve chosen to explore a single cacao variety and how we can harness and enhance the individual flavours of the fruiter and more robust Venezuelan cacao nibs.

  The result is an incredibly silky smooth, ice-cream-reminiscent coating of the mouth, a slightly dark berry jamminess on the nose with a perfectly balanced, decedent chocolate flavour balanced alongside a complex savoury umami flavour. True birthday celebration in a can.
