Field Recording Saison

Brewed to accompany a night of celebrating the wondrous complexity of the field recording session.

Field is a night celebrating the wondrous complexity of the field recording session and a beer style originally brewed to quench the thirsts of labourers and field workers. Both are connected to the land, one by working it, and the other by a slow and curious listening to it.

The beer itself has all the classic flavours of a saison; lemon & spice on the nose, slightly bready, dry, with a slightly higher carbonation than our usual beers. Eminently smashable!

On Thursday 22nd May we'll be hosting the School Of Digital Arts (SODA) where they'll be taking us on an ambient journey into field recordings, including a live manipulation of sounds taken from our own brewery, alongside first pours of our Field Recording Saison collaboration.

You may remember @dvrk_mcr from our halloween event last year where we enjoyed an evening of horror movie live scoring and their zine launch. We're super excited to have them back with us for a night of contemplative listening & atmospheric wonder.
