Wanderlust x Pillars | Kölsch-Style Lager

Hosting their first collaboration, we invited London's Lager Lovers Pillars to brew a clean and refreshing Köln-style lager.

From the traditional Brauhäuser of Cologne to the industrial estates of Manchester and London, we've teamed up with Pillars Brewery to bring you an Oktoberfest classic: a Kölsch-style lager. Our main goal for this collaboration was to highlight our individual strengths—Pillars' expertise in lager and our own in pale ales. This led us to the idea of a Kölsch, a perfectly balanced, top-fermented German lager crafted with ale yeast.

The result is a crisp, bright and super refreshing beer boasting a golden cracker-bread like sweetness from the malt. Delicate notes of ripe orange and sweet tangerine come to the forefront, typical of the German Tango hops used, then with a longer gooseberry and lime snappy finish from the Loral.
