Newbarns - Noworlater - BA Doppelbock - 8.2%

Picture this, it’s freezing outside (pretty easy to imagine right now 🥶) you get home from work, quickly change into your comfy cosy clothes and bop your slippers on. You’re on the sofa with a belly full of dinner and you fancy a little something to sip on while catching up on the latest true crime podcast. You see a can of Noworlator in the fridge and you think, “Do I want this now, or later?” Now sounds about right.

Noworlator is a Doppelbock brewed in 2023, and was aged in a mix of heavily Sherried whisky octaves for 12 months. It’s a smooth and rich lager, a stronger and maltier version of the traditional bock. The barrel character gave it a crazy sherry vibe, so we blended it out with some fresh beer which has maintained the rich caramel flavour but has rounded it off and created a more balanced finish.
