We are looking for someone who enjoys building strong working relationships, maintaining regular customer contact, and representing the Cloudwater brand professionally within bars, restaurants, pubs, bottle shops, and hospitality venues across the region.
This is not purely a desk-based sales role. A large part of the role will involve being out in the market, visiting customers, strengthening relationships, supporting accounts, and helping ensure our customers receive an exceptional level of service and communication.
The role will report into the Sales Team Manager/Head of Sales and work closely with the wider sales and operations teams.
While previous sales experience would be advantageous, we are equally interested in candidates with exceptional hospitality or customer service experience. This role could be particularly well suited to someone currently working in bars, restaurants, cocktail venues, bottle shops, or wider hospitality who understands what excellent customer experience looks like from the customer side of the industry.
Knowledge of beer and the wider drinks industry would be beneficial, but we value attitude, organisation, communication skills, and relationship-building ability just as highly.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers across the North West region
- Conducting regular face-to-face customer visits and maintaining a visible presence in market
- Supporting existing customer accounts and identifying opportunities for growth
- Delivering a consistently high level of customer service and communication
- Supporting new account development within the region
- Managing customer enquiries and helping resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Processing and maintaining customer information and sales activity within Breww
- Supporting with stock queries, returns, and general account administration
- Working collaboratively with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to support smooth customer experience
- Representing Cloudwater at trade events, festivals, and customer-facing events where required
Who We’re Looking For
You should bring:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence building and maintaining professional relationships
- A proactive and dependable approach to work
- Comfort working independently and managing your own schedule
- Confidence using systems and administrative processes
- A willingness to learn and develop within the role
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the North West region
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within hospitality, bars, restaurants, bottle shops, or drinks-led venues
- Previous field sales or account management experience
- Knowledge of the craft beer or wider drinks industry
- Experience using Breww or similar systems
- Familiarity with stock movements, returns processes, or beer duty administration
- Existing relationships within hospitality or drinks venues
If you feel you can bring valuable transferable skills or a unique perspective from outside the brewing industry, we would still encourage you to apply. We are particularly interested in people who are enthusiastic about customer experience, relationship building, and representing our brand professionally within the hospitality industry.
